Support Raising
I guess most people would say that is a fancy term for fund raising. You are right if you are just trying to get money. As Margaret and I go through this process of raising support to be involved in mission work…it makes you think a lot more about people. It will take $5,000 a month to support our family. What we need more than that are PEOPLE who believe in us, PEOPLE who believe in the ministry that God is calling us to, PEOPLE that will lift us up in prayer, PEOPLE who will encourage us when we need some strength, PEOPLE who listen to the Lord and are obedient, PEOPLE who want other to know more about Jesus, PEOPLE who can go with us on this journey of faith and trust, PEOPLE who will commit to us in extraordinary ways. Margaret and I are needy people. We need you to help see the Kingdom of God move forward through our obedience in going and challenging other PEOPLE to go after God and take the gospel all over the world and through your faithfulness in sending us out. Pray about how the Lord will use you as part of our SUPPORT TEAM!
They made it!!!
Well, the long awaited sail to Keil Germany has finally taken place. The Logos Hope arrived safely and was welcomed by the crew of Logos II and other locals. This is a picture of the Logos Hope under sail. Beauty!!!!!

Trusting…
Well, here comes faith test numer 1: currently we are scheduled to be on the Doulos in April…Margaret has been checking prices and it looks like we are going to need around $3000.00 a piece for airfare. Please pray with us and we will see the Lord move in mighty ways.

Logos Hope on the move to Kiel Germany
Pray for the creaw as they sail the Logos Hope to Kiel Germany to meet up with the rest of the team that will be joining them from Logos II. John, Holly and the boys will be able to greet Harold Smit (friend, and workmate from the States headquarters) upon arrival. I would so love to be sailing right now. “Just Start Living!”

Speaking on Thursday night, OM Ships’ CEO Bernd Gülker told the tired onboard family that he is “incredibly grateful and humbled” at the voluntary time and energy given. “It is very humbling to see that God has brought in the money we’ve needed to cover our expenses to this point,” he added. “To start with we didn’t have one single Euro. God is so incredibly good to us. It’s not our doing but God’s.” He used the analogy of a child who says they want to start living when they grow up, to show that the team need not wait until the ship is finished before people’s lives are impacted. “You would say to the child, ‘Just start living!’ and God is already working on and through Logos Hope.”
